High energy physical theatre show BLAM! arrives at the West End’s Peacock Theatre on 22 October, for a run to 16 November 2013, direct from its UK premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

 

In an attempt to escape their painfully dull 9 to 5 jobs, four ingenious office workers invent BLAM! - an imaginary game where ordinary life is put through the shredder. In this hilarious and explosive show, the mundane workplace is transformed into a world populated by aliens, superheroes and classic blockbuster movie villains as the workers reenact scenes from their favourite films.

 

BLAM! - described by creators Neander as “Die Hard meets The Office” - features incredible stunts, breathtaking physical feats, exhilarating parkour and heaps of attitude. A wordless performance, it offers an imaginative, action-packed and highly entertaining experience, taking physical theatre to new heights of innovation.

 

Neander is an award-winning and critically acclaimed Danish physical theatre company that has toured worldwide under the artistic direction of Iceland-born Denmark-based Kristján Ingimarsson.

 

Founded in 1998, Neander’s other shows include Fools Of The World Unite (2011), Big Wheel Café (2010), CREATURE (2008), The Savior (2007), My Head (with Paolo Nani, 2006), Blow Job (2005), The Art of Dying (with Paolo Nani, 2003), Poodle (2000) and Mike Attack (1998).
