Jeannette
Just posted on the company’s FB page: https://m.facebook.com/137251046480235/ Liang has been the AD of Columbus,OH’s Ballet Met. He was one of my favorite soloists at NYCB years ago! I hope to revisit Washington next spring, although that may be too early to see his work.

Bruce Wall
Such exciting news. Always loved his purity as a dancer which has always been clearly reflected in his choreography. While certainly that would not today suit all companies as defined I'm certain it will - with right - be championed in the American capital. Here is a small segment of a PDD from his first NYCB commission in 2019 - Lineage. Their future looks balletically bright.
Emeralds
Congratulations to Edwaard Liang! Wasn't lucky enough to see him in his dancing days but I have enjoyed all the ballets of his I've seen. Washington Ballet is also a marvellous company with a wonderful history- was lucky to see them on tour abroad a few times. A fantastic fit and wishing both director and company many brilliant and successful seasons.
