Jan McNulty Posted October 23, 2022 Share Posted October 23, 2022 Long standing supporters of Northern Ballet will be saddened to hear the news that Bernard Atha has passed away at the age of 94. Bernard Atha was a huge supporter of the Arts in Leeds and was instrumental in the move of Northern Ballet from Halifax to Leeds. I saw him in the audience at Northern Ballet performances in Leeds many times over the years either in his official capacity or as a member of the audience.
