Change of Programme for The Forsythe Company at Sadler's Wells

 

There has been a change of programme to The Forsythe Company’s visit to Sadler’s Wells this spring. The company will now present Study #3, which draws on 30 of William Forsythe’s previous works. The dates and ticket prices are as before, and further information is below.

William Forsythe is recognised as one of the world’s foremost contemporary choreographers, best-known for reorientating ballet from its identification with classical repertoire to a dynamic 21st century art form. Founded in 2005, The Forsythe Company draws on the intensive collaborative processes pioneered by William Forsythe, producing works in the areas of installation, film, performance and educational media.

The Forsythe Company presents the UK premiere of Study # 3, which originally premiered in Frankfurt in November 2012. The piece includes movement sequences, compositional methods, music, text, props, costumes, lighting, scenery and technical effects from 30 of William Forsythe’s works from the last 30 years.
