drdance
Virtuosity is purely skill based. The more 'virtuosity' that a performer has means they tend to be able to perform long secure balances, multiple pirouettes expertly, multiple beats in allegro, higher jumps etc.
Anjuli_Bai
I think there is another element to virtuosity..... Not only technically skilled beyond the expected norm - but it has to be coupled with the daring to do it in a performance setting. There are those who have the proficiency but lack the capacity to deliver upon demand.
Pointytoes22
Oh ok, on lots of the vocational ballet school websites it says virtuosity under the course overview.
Aurora
I think it includes artistry and performance skills too.
