Extension Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I’m looking for 1 evening ticket for a Friday, 20th of April, performance of Lady Macbeth. Price range <50£, thank you.
Extension Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 Is ticketmaster (or its likes) reliable? I’ve never really tried them. Thanks for your advice.
RuthE Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 There are currently 13 tickets for this performance on the ROH website priced at less than £50. They are all at the rear Amphitheatre though, and you will absolutely be able to get something better if you hold out for a return. Specifically, keep an eye on the website over the next couple of weeks; now that public booking is open, it won't be too long before they close the priority period for allocation of wheelchair spaces, which means you will suddenly see several loose seats released for general sale at the sides of the Balcony. The ones on the curve of Row B are particularly good value for money, and are priced at £53 or £40 for this production depending on how far round the curve they are. My advice is do not be tempted to pay Ticketmaster fees because you should be able to get what you need from ROH directly without paying compulsory fees.
