That's appalling. What was she doing - English Literature? (Sorry - my roommate was doing EL back last century and "only" had 14 contact hours a week. I had 21, and was quite jealous of all her "spare" time)

I think all students, ballet, further education, university etc all deserve to have fees refunded. They are not being taught properly and are paying outrageous sums. What is happening to university students throughout the country is heartbreaking.
But we had a friends daughter who was at University prior to the Virus and only received 4 lectures a week and 1 tutorial! Was this good value ?

You can also walk, which is sometimes simpler on busy, traffic-heavy days. It take about 15 minutes from Richmond station across the A316 and Twickenham Bridge to Rambert.
Yes easy to walk it

Sounds great, it must be helpful and motivating to be able to interact with a teacher and see their friends.

And it would be helpful if media quoted numbers as a percentage of the population rather than a numerical number.

Cuba it is important that culture is accessible to all residents, hence price difference for tourists. They really value the impact culture can have on the nation.

Glad to see Avatara in there, a very intelligent dancer and choreographer , different in everything she does.

Wonderful that in Cuba ballet is accessible to all and she was a big part of making that happen.

Only if you are able to complete the 3 years. If not - due to injury as in my dd's case or for other reasons - then you have used up part of your degree funding with nothing to show for it and no A-levels either. You get a level 5 qualification if you complete 2 years, but all that means is that you are unable get funding to go to college to study something else, and you can't get on a degree-level course in another field because they won't accept the dance qualification and you don't have enough UCAS points because you have no A-levels either. You would also have to self-fund part of the degree. Catch 22.
To be honest, on the whole, A-levels might be the best option.
You can do A levels and then go to Rambert at 18. Excellent dance education there and good pastoral / physio care

Dane Hurst appears at Wilton's Music Hall on 19th and 20th August. It's a piece about male suicide (not a cheery subject I know...) created with film maker Tom Rowland.
Details here

I see Oxana Panchenko is listed as a guest artist.
It should be compelling to watch, he is an amazing dancer.
