No post so far this week! I’m sure my postie must be off sick. I usually get mail everyday…mainly junk. But I’ve had nothing through the door…. Not even a charity bag or a take away menu 😱

No post for us today either 😞. Back to staring out of my windows again tomorrow. Was going to have productive time off work… at least my windows are spotless 😆

Are the letters posted 1st class? I just need to back away from the front door and try to distract myself, as only got the email yesterday about the letter being posted 🙈

I hate to ask, but has anyone received a rejection letter in the post? I’m on edge waiting for this letter and bracing myself for the worst case. Will be nice to relax once we get the results. Congratulations to all who were successful 🥳

What JA class is she in? As my daughter goes to Birmingham, JA 4. Hope you here from the Hammond soon, as emails and letters are going out by the looks of it 🤞🏻

So I would assume that people will get an email if unsuccessful in the audition, and a letter if successful?

Fingers crossed that today more people will hear results, and that those with questions get answers on funding. I’m waiting for the mail man and stalking my emails. 🤞🏻

I wonder if they will send out rejections soon? Unless they are still debating results? I should stop reading into things and learn to be patient 🙈

My daughter got a no from Elmhurst, so she’s pinning her hopes for the Hammond, which is her 1st choice. She loved the whole audition, and the feel of the school…especially accommodation being off site. I’ve tried to keep her grounded by explaining that if she doesn’t get in she will go to a school with the friends she already knows, and can carry on dancing at her dance school; also explained she can try again next year and see this year as a practice run. ( but secretly I’m panicking for her and praying she gets the opportunity of a life time ).

I’ve just seen on the Hammond website that there is another audition 25th Feb due to high demand. So I assume we would find out after that date now.

I’m half deaf, so I just smiled and nodded as if I heard everything 🙈. I’m sure I was told 9th or 12th Feb? I wonder if anyone got an offer on the day🤔

I’m following this post as we have been selected for the interview at random. From what I understand is that due to number of applicants they have chosen interviews at random. This will not affect the audition outcomes or process.

I had an email from the teacher to get a red resistance band with the link to the shop and discount. If you email your teacher I am sure they would send you a link.

Hi, I questioned about the ballet shoes as the shoes I got don’t fit..3 pairs, so I sent the teacher an email about needing full soles shoes…this is the reply I got. So they will allow split soled shoes.. Thank you for your email. Rbs do prefer full sole, but I know they are harder to find ones that fit well. Use the ones from your local ballet school
