Yes, I phoned yesterday just to check that we’d hear even if it was a no and that we hadn’t missed anything. They said they’re looking at it this week…

Oh, that’s really tough. Maybe call the school just to clarify before talking to DD? I’m sure it’ll feel like small consolation now but to have had an offer on the day shows she clearly has enormous talent. Hopefully if this door doesn’t open, another one will 🩰

Do they tell you even if you don’t get offered a place? We’ve not heard anything at all since the audition nearly 3 weeks ago 😬

Still nothing yet. I now can't decide which scenario to go for - either DC hasn't got a place at all (although hoping that if they'd decided that they'd have told us) or DC has a place but they're waiting to see how much is left in the MDS pot before making an offer. Audition was 6th March for Y7 entry. Waiting is tortuous!

Ours auditioned last week and the wait is agonising - I think we’d really struggle with a whole month!! @Shelovesdance, have you heard anything at all, even if just an offer?

Waiting on Hammond news too! DC auditioned on Monday this week so imagine we'll have a while to wait still. The children were told that they are ranked with points and highest points get funding. Our DC knows that if there's no MDS they can't go, even if a place is offered. It's a tough gig!
