Oh that is so helpful thank you! I hadn’t seen those. I’ll give them a try! 😃

Just received the full sole So Danca ones and they are like boats too ... They fit very differently to their split sole ones! Not really sure what else to try ... Seems like it's boats or nothing!

We wear the tracksuit - I think they are having a re brand or something? As we didn’t have the option of leggings before. So you might get an exciting new tracksuit 😅 The bottoms are very baggy so leggings are a good idea I think! They don’t show any pictures do they.. I love a rebrand...

The new shoes are pretty ermmm ....interesting 😬 if anyone has a recommendations for canvas full sole that come in a narrow fit? These are very wide. We have sized down but if anyone knows of any others I’d be grateful..

Agree re shoes ... They look awful on my DD and she has nice feet but also very narrow and the shoes look baggy 🙈

Hi! 😄 We’ve just moved to Lichfield so it’s only about a 35 minute drive to Birmingham. Will you be travelling very far? Though he has a Sunday associates programme back in London every other Sunday, so we will be putting the miles in.

We are in Albrighton (stationed at RAF Cosford) so not a long journey for us either!

Hello! My DD is starting year 5 in Birmingham.

Does anyone know if they run a year 4/5 class then a separate year 6 class as JAs?

I wonder if they’ll delay the start slightly this year given all that needs to be sorted.

Hi .. just wondering whereabouts you live as we will be together in Birmingham :)

Congratulations to all yes dancers. My DD as typically as usual is on reserve list (oh yes 🤣 3 years in row on SWL for JA RBS) and now in Elmhurst. I do not expect that the place will become available, so at least she still can continue with her Ballet Boost and CBA.

Oh that's so frustrating!!! All in good time I believe and I am so pleased she has CBA and BB!!! She must be a strong character to keep trying ❤️

Congratulations! 🥳 Is this for a DS or DD? I’m so pleased, because my son got SWL for RBS London last year, and felt really disappointed when it turned into nothing. This audition wasn’t particularly easy. I know it sounds strange, it was the first time he had to dance on carpet, the sound wasn’t great, and we didn’t have the hugest space. Was expecting a no so it’s a really pleasant surprise!

Mine is for a DD and I totally agree that it wasn't an easy audition at all! Great news for them both ☺️😊☺️

This was also the first Elmhurst audition for my DS as we’ve only just relocated to the Midlands, so we didn’t apply for Y4. Wether there are many spaces available is probably anyone’s guess. I just hope we get to know he outcome this side of the weekend.

Same here! We only moved here in July from the South so sounds like we are in a similar boat!

Fingers crossed they come through soon 🤞

Good luck too! Yes, I got the sense there were quite a lot auditioning, and no idea I’d the statistics involved. I’ve always presumed RBS JA’s hover around a 1-in-10 chance for the bigger centres, but have never really asked or researched the Elmhurst statistics. Regardless of the outcome, the waiting is never particularly a pleasure is it 😬

Nope I cannot say I am enjoying the waiting game 😂

We are assuming a no as it's first time but doesn't stop me constantly refreshing my emails!!
