I would totally agree with @Motomumand @Crazylifecrazykids. My daughter has really enjoyed her Ballet Boost associate classes. They are challenging classes and have very clear expectations for behaviour and uniform which I think is great. They were also very organised during the lock downs and there were out of studio zoom classes with guest teachers that were fab. Most of all she enjoys them. I've not got another associate scheme to compare too but my DD's class currently has 15 and they seem to get appropriate input each. Assessment process was clear and we got prompt feedback. 

I would also like to say how impressed I have been with Ballet Boost associates. My DD attends one of the Junior Associate classes (not London) and couldn't be more pleased. The quality of teaching has been great, in-person and on zoom. I was also really impressed with the information for parents and children regarding the annual assessment and how supportive they have been. 

We have had a letter from Ballet Boost Associates giving us guidance which really helped clarify. I'd recommend asking the associate schemes your DC are in for further guidance. The general gist is they felt that as auditioned and vocational classed as educational. 

When I was in contact with them they mentioned doing some auditions on September via zoom for DC who were unable to attend in the summer...

Looking back with the benefit of hindsight probably shouldn't have done it but was the only option available and she desperately wanted to try. She felt the audition went well all considering so at least it was a positive experience for her despite the not yet! 😍

It was definitely an experience for all no matter the outcome 😂 especially us parents/carers! Trying to do a zoom audition in a caravan awning in the wilds of Devon on a mobile phone with no ballet leotard or shoes was an experience not to be repeated! 🤤

Also a not yet for DD for Y5 Birmingham. Disappointed as she has loved attending some workshops there but she has been offered and accepted a place on Ballet Boost Junior Associates so is thrilled to be starting that. The fact her new kit for there had arrived today felt a bit like fate when the no arrived. Well done to all the yes DC, and keep trying to the Not yets. Xx
