@Lou78 My comment regarding communication is based on our experience and I can assure you as people largely affected by the pandemic we have been nothing but understanding and patient during these times. Comparing to friends and other vocational schools I still feel let down regarding communication. Everyone's experience is their own. It's great that they have been so wonderful for existing students and very reassuring for those starting their journey in September. Good luck to your DD in September and wishing her a bright future.

We have neither formally accepted nor declined, we are at peace with DD not going as we have found their communication extremely poor, call me crazy but if we are paying for schooling the one thing I would hope we could rely on is a decent communication. Has anyone had or requested feedback from the DC audition? Those still hoping we have everything crossed for you 🤞🤞

We've not heard anything yet but to be honest the longer we've waited the more we've come to terms it might just not be her time as any fee remissions probably still won't be enough. @Carlymay and @SpinningBoy I hope your DC are ok and as disapointing as it is I'm sure the future holds so much for them 💗💙 and they keep doing what they love. Congratulations to those who have been offered fee remissions big decisions. Hope everyone is staying safe and well 💗

We too felt the indication was that they would give more info after the deadline date however they have actually given very little and we really have found communication disappointing to say the least.

Just checked we've had our email, same as what yours has said. I feel it's poor correspondence to be honest and alot of people may want to know where their child is on the list to help in going forward ie how likely they are next on the list for an mds.

@Ellera sadly I think there will be alot of us in a position where either won't be able to access financial help or even with financial help it's a huge struggle, feeling very disheartened at the moment with it all feels like it's accessable of you're from a background of privilege. Keeping everything crossed for good news further down the line. Looks like we should all receive the same sort of thing in the post tomorrow then. @Mummy twinkle toes sorry for your loss. Stay safe everyone x

I think we will hear more next week but I doubt there will be much movement MDS wise as they seem to have been giving them out as they've been returned, I'm thinking most will have made their minds up by now knowing that other people are waiting on reserve lists 🤔 still crossing everything for everyone xxx

@SpinningBoy nothing here I'm afraid, feels so bitter sweet, losing hope the more the days go on, keep.doing the lottery too, an MDS would feel like winning the lottery too at the minute 😬 IV got everything crossed for us all xx

Thanks @Mrs Butterfly really appreciate the insight as we've not been through any of this before. Financially I doubt we'd be able to do anything without an MDS so it may be the end of DD dream. They've so far not asked us for any financial information, is that normally after the the time frame given? So far we've found communication lacking but I'm wandering if this is due to the current climate?

Congratulations those who have had an MDS become available!! 💗 What lovely news during these times. Am I right in thinking it's not a case of waiting untill after the 17th as stated in the email, they will be giving them out as and when they become available?
