  1. Yes they did my DD auditioned but unfortunately wasn't successful. She was successful and has accepted a place on the associate's programme at Moorland but we'd also applied for Elmhurst so was hoping she could still complete an audition at least xx
  2. I wonder if they're planning on abandoning it for 2020. It's getting a little close really to make arrangements etc isn't it? X
  3. Hi all, Has anyone heard any further information about this September intake auditions for Elmhurst Young Dancer ? I last had an email at the beginning of June stating they were undecided on how to proceed but not heard anything since. Thanks in advance ☺ xx
  4. That's really lovely !! I'm really proud of how my DD has handled the whole process and even the no xx
  5. It really is but thank you to this forum and the support you've all given at least we managed to get an associate's offer 😄. Thank to all of you fabulous lot 😄👏 xx
  6. Thank you... totally new to this so still trying to figure out all the terminologies ha ha xx
  7. Well done everyone 👏... excuse my ignorance but what is SWL ? xx
  8. Just received my DD results email and unfortunately it's a no for RBS. However she's received a place for Moorland International Ballet Academy so great result for first time auditionee. Well done everyone 👏 xx
  9. Our surname begins with S so we're usually bottom end if things are alphabetical xx
  10. Yes i had in my head it would be next week but really beginning to doubt that now xx
  11. It fills me with dread to think that they've not even looked at them all yet... it would appear the wait is going to be much longer 😔 xx
  12. I was hoping we would've by today but never mind !! Hopefully next week yes.. the waiting is a killer ha ha xx
  13. Wow that's really amazing 👏... thank you so much for sharing that. Which did you end up picking ? Xx
  14. Thank you @Dancer20it's lovely to hear how your DD has progressed. I'm sure you've been through these stresses many times now. Good luck for your DD for September 🥰 xx
  15. I just thought once others had taken the decision to do video auditions they'd have done the same ha ha xx
  16. I'm so surprised at the lateness of Elmhurst announcing what they'll do about auditions. I was really convinced they'd follow RB !! Its always the way isn't it 🤣 xx
  17. Oh no... its so difficult isn't it ?? You just don't want them to end up with nothing. I know Elmhurst haven't even decided yet what their auditions will look like so who knows what will happen there ?? Hopefully you won't end up in that position xx
  18. Ok so here's one for you all.... I'm assumin your children have other auditions too 🤷‍♀️. What if acceptance dates are before you receive results from other auditions? Would it be silly not to accept at the risk of not being offered any others ?? Totally our first time so really nervous xx
  19. It was mainly exercises nothing too complex but i assume that the judges are able to tell a lot about strength etc with them. Its my DD first time of auditions so I'm not sure how the video audition would differ to live auditions. Good luck 👍 xx
  20. The waiting is awful isn't it 🤦‍♀️. I'm the same myself. Good luck 🤞 xx
  21. I wouldn't worry they'd have been in touch to advise if they were unable to watch it. They were unable to view my DD so asked me to resend the link and password and they've since viewed it xx
  22. I set my daughters to private and could only be accessed with the password which i provided to RB. So hers only has one viewing on 24th June xx
  23. I've just read on another platform that results are usually within a month with normal auditions but as it's only year 6 maybe these will be quicker. It's 2 weeks on Wednesday so half way there xx
  24. I had an email before as they were unable to view my daughters video so asked me to send them the link again. Fingers crossed not too long of a wait now xx
