We got a not this time email but that’s ok. It was her first time trying so sure she will try again next year. Awaiting associates results by the end of May. Good luck everyone

Loads of kids start in later years so she has plenty of time, well done to her for giving it her all xxx

My DS is 4.45 also and he’s number 9 I think! What’s everybody doing about the numbers for their leotards, have I read it wrong or do we have to make our own? x

Oh gawd yes we do and I keep forgetting. I’m cutting up a pillow case and writing on the number in marker pen xx

  3. How many sessions do you think there are? We are at 4.45pm and assume we’re the last. I’m thinking it could be 6, something like below...?

    9.30-10.30

    10.45-11.45

    12.00 - 1pm

    break

    2.15-3.15pm

    3.30-4.30pm

    4.45-5.45pm

    finish

so between 60-90 kids class size dependant. What do you reckon?

I wouldn’t have thought so. I know of children in previous years who’ve not been recalled, or who had recalls for CAT and not associates etc. I think that this year, the effort of filming might have put people off which might skew the applicant standard perhaps? Another couple of things to keep in mind, is that there is often a unrepresentative number of yeses on this forum and that those with nos might not put it on social media etc.

This!!! Totally agree. The forum will have the more serious and dedicated dancers so unrealistic proportion of yes to no’s.

The confirmation email states if you have not heard by 29th March to contact them

on the email address provided so it is surely going to be in the next 3 days or they’ll be inundated with emails. I will email Friday if haven’t heard just to find out when we will hear by. Lots of people have said they are usually quite quick and they have even stated we will hear at different times as they go through the application 🤔

Yeah they are normally super quick and efficient so I’m surprised we haven’t heard yet to be honest. But I’m guessing to sit and watch 7-10 minute videos, potentially 2 or 3 people, and 100s of them Is taking time...come

    on Northern😬

I have a feeling they might wait until after the free boys class they are doing on Friday. Does anyone know if they usually do the CATs and associate emails together? Or do they concentrate on CATs first?

I don’t know. Audition wise CAT is first isn’t it? When we applied for my son we only put CAT and not JA, and same now for my daughter xx

In Bath this year they've had 2 mixed groups with years 4 5 and 6 together. I think normally year 6 are separate though? It works fine as they all do slightly different variations e.g. year 4 facing the barre, year 6 one hand on the barre...x

Actually yes good point. This year they have put some yr 5s with yr 6’s in Leeds too but I’m assuming that’s just Covid related as haven’t heard of that before? Unless it’s more common in other centres? Xx
