We got a not this time email but that’s ok. It was her first time trying so sure she will try again next year. Awaiting associates results by the end of May. Good luck everyoneÂ
Loads of kids start in later years so she has plenty of time, well done to her for giving it her all xxx

We got a yes!! Now I’ve got to work out DS getting there Monday and Wednesday and Dd getting there Tuesday and Thursdays plus Saturdays for both lol. Good luck everyone xxx

How did everyone’s DC get on? Mine came out happy but not confident, but she tried her hardest and enjoyed it so that’s the main thing. xx

My DS is 4.45 also and he’s number 9 I think! What’s everybody doing about the numbers for their leotards, have I read it wrong or do we have to make our own? x
Oh gawd yes we do and I keep forgetting. I’m cutting up a pillow case and writing on the number in marker pen xx
-
How many sessions do you think there are? We are at 4.45pm and assume we’re the last. I’m thinking it could be 6, something like below...?
Â
9.30-10.30
10.45-11.45
12.00 - 1pm
break
2.15-3.15pm
3.30-4.30pm
4.45-5.45pm
finish
Â
so between 60-90 kids class size dependant. What do you reckon?

We are number 8 xx

I wouldn’t have thought so. I know of children in previous years who’ve not been recalled, or who had recalls for CAT and not associates etc. I think that this year, the effort of filming might have put people off which might skew the applicant standard perhaps? Another couple of things to keep in mind, is that there is often a unrepresentative number of yeses on this forum and that those with nos might not put it on social media etc.Â
This!!! Totally agree. The forum will have the more serious and dedicated dancers so unrealistic proportion of yes to no’s.Â

Well done everyone. Recall for CAT here (we didn’t put in for associates). So will see some of you on the 18th🥳

Noooooo, I don’t have anything😩 How did you get on???
-
It’s crackers if they wait until after. How many boys will be doing the class who haven’t already applied anyway? Argh, this is torture !!
-
🤞🤞🤞🤞 good luck everyone. Let’s hope it’s today😬

Tomorrow must be the day? Surely they won’t keep us waiting all weekend???😩

Argh, had an email this morning from Laura (CAT manager) got excited, turns out it was about the boys class and nothing to do with auditions😩🤣

Which course are you auditioning for?
Just CAT for us. DD already does RBS associates so figure we’ve got our associate class...it’s a risky one to go for though😬😬

I think that’s what I need to do lol 😂Â
I’m still checking every 10 minutes though...I’m certainly not cool as a cucumber 🥒 😂

Nope. I’m going with the 29th in my head

The confirmation email states if you have not heard by 29th March to contact them
on the email address provided so it is surely going to be in the next 3 days or they’ll be inundated with emails. I will email Friday if haven’t heard just to find out when we will hear by. Lots of people have said they are usually quite quick and they have even stated we will hear at different times as they go through the application 🤔
Yeah they are normally super quick and efficient so I’m surprised we haven’t heard yet to be honest. But I’m guessing to sit and watch 7-10 minute videos, potentially 2 or 3 people, and 100s of them Is taking time...come
on Northern😬

I have a feeling they might wait until after the free boys class they are doing on Friday. Does anyone know if they usually do the CATs and associate emails together? Or do they concentrate on CATs first?Â
I don’t know. Audition wise CAT is first isn’t it? When we applied for my son we only put CAT and not JA, and same now for my daughter xx

Mine hasn’t been watched over the weekend. It’s on Dropbox so I set it to a minute from the end so I could see if anyone looked but it’s still in the same place. I feel like it might not be until the end of the weekðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Good luck everyone xxxx

In Bath this year they've had 2 mixed groups with years 4 5 and 6 together. I think normally year 6 are separate though? It works fine as they all do slightly different variations e.g. year 4 facing the barre, year 6 one hand on the barre...xÂ
Actually yes good point. This year they have put some yr 5s with yr 6’s in Leeds too but I’m assuming that’s just Covid related as haven’t heard of that before? Unless it’s more common in other centres? Xx

I was also surprised as thought it would be end of may and I only put down CAT so maybe associates are coming soon🤞
