Hi, I can highly recommend Peter Mann's portable ballet barres at http://www.thebarre.co.uk Peter is a lovely chap, very helpful and he makes and delivers ballet barres to dance schools all around the U.K (and Europe too!) I personally use the 1.5 metre barres, but they come in a range of sizes, even as small as 1 metre I think (nice and compact and great for practising at home!) I hope that helps!
