It's a no for DD
-
Last night I asked DH if he had seen this years John Lewis Christmas advert and he replied no. DD heard and started watching it and burst into tears because she found it sad. Maybe I shouldn't have asked DH if he'd seen it yet; though it's better her crying at home than suddenly bursting into tears in the classroom if they are watching a video and the advert pops up
Edited to add DD is only 12

DD was in age 12 group and she said she messed up on one of the exercises so we aren't expecting to get through to finals, still v proud though! Also had everyone who has found out been in the 25th Oct class?

Oh don't worry I just looked at the dates and worked out they are all on a Saturday

I've just come across this site and had some questions to ask about it as so far it seems perfect for DD! What age is juniors from? For the juniors, is the ballet class Pilates and rep all in 1 hour? Do you have to audition for the summer school or be part of the associates? Is the training good and worth the money as it seems quite cheap? When is the audition if there is one?How much does it cost a year? Can you chose to do one lesson and not the other? Any other info would be fab! Thanks

We are the same tinydancer but I don't know if my question was clear or not but what I meant was if your DD is a MA do they automatically get a place without sending in pictures due to the fact that they are a MA.

Did MAs have to apply or did they get through without applying as at the October masterclass the girls were mostly associates with Royal?

Yes dancingshoes We received an email yesterday.

If anyone has An advent calendar that you fill , each day you could put handy dance things in there e.g. bun nets or needle and pointe shoe ribbon

Can you book private classes with Anna?
-
No taxi though she is doing a non-syllabus class which partly strengthens her feet for pointe work

She is 12 Katy (in year 8)

DD does 4 hours of ballet a week and is doing grade 4 and level 5 istd and I know she lacks the amount of hours of the average dancer who would like to be a professional. We have looked into private classes though her current ballet teacher doesn't think it's necessary and isn't too keen on the idea and she is auditioning for Lcb and Tring CBA soon. Though if she doesn't get into either of them (we know it is extremely hard to get into either of them) we won't know what to do to make up at least a few more of the hours of training each week. We are a little bit stuck and would appreciate any suggestions.
Edited to add DD also does 2 hours of jazz, 1 hour of modern and 1 hour of tap each week in addition to ballet.

Yes she is fine! We weren't even expecting a call back so we are very proud of DD and DD is proud of herself! We heard back from a letter because we applied by letter
