I have done the acceptance and use a head shot from a photo I had, not a passport photo as such, hope that is ok. Skirt making!!!! I got the instructions that made me chuckle, I probably could make it but for dd's sake ill think ill get it made! Dont seem to be able to order the uniform until August though, DD will love the Royal Ballet tracksuit, how special. Getting excited now and have looked up the travel on the train and using train split.com the price is more than halved :-) Anyone else Leeds?

Thanks Loislane, I wonder if this was only for certain venues. I did not see that option and noone asked anyone about how many sessions on the day although dd auditioned at another venue closer to us, other commitments meant we had to phone up and switch which one we wanted a few weeks after the audition, incase she got it, to fit around other things. I looked on RB website and some venues says 20 weeks, some 24, some 28 some 32 some a mix but leeds is 32. I am not a traditional 'ballet mum' and dd only started ballet in sept so this is totally new to us. Anyone else going to leeds?

We got offered 32 sessions in Leeds, quite honestly if there was a 24 option I would take it as we are 1.5 hrs away and I have a little one too, do you ask for less? How does it work?

Anyone else got into Leeds? We will be travelling from Preston way and wondering if there is anyone else on the way to share lifts part way?

Someone asked what year my dd is. She is in yr 4 at school. DD auditioned in Manchester but we switched which location we wanted after audition because it suddenly clashed with other activities. Now we face a 1.5 hr drive to get to Leeds every saturday. We are not a ballet family, I thought it was once a month. DD teacher did warn me she is very naturally talented. Anyone got Leeds results yet?

Well done Dancing pickles. My dd has only been doing ballet since September!!!!! She has been offered 32 sessions a year, I thought it was going to be less (every other week or once a month), its going to be a challenge fitting it around everything else as we are an hour & half away. DD is mega excited though.

Got an email this afternoon from the Manchester audition, we switched to Leeds after the audition and my dd has been offered a place in Leeds!!!
