  1. I have 2 brand new Grishko leotards with labels still on- a black halter neck and a raspberry leotard with mesh sweetheart neckline, in European size 40 (equivalent to about a UK 12 I think)

Ordered them thinking that they were Grishko size 40/UK 6, which they’re not, and can’t return them!

Would like £25 each but open to offers!

  2.

    6. “Tutu Much” by Airin Emery, £1

    7. “Ballerina” by Nada Curčija-Prodanović, £2

    8. “Attitude” by Robin Stevenson, £1

    21. “The Royal Ballet School” by Noel Streatfield (one page has a brown ink stain in the corner, but the rest of the book is fine and covers a full history of ‘British’ ballet from 1661 up to 1960), £1.50

    could I have these please?🥰
  3. For sale- RAD character skirt with ribbons, not completely sure of size but I’d guess 25 inch waist 26 inch length... Should fit age 13+.

Worn but in excellent condition. £10 plus p&p, open to offers

Also available- size 2 canvas character shoes with low heel, worn but in good condition. £5 plus p&p

  4. For sale- 5 pairs of brand new Capezio footed ballet tights, 3x size S/M, 2x size M (please note these are children’s sizes not adults’, I imagine they’d fit a child about 8-10 years old)

selling because i accidentally ordered children’s size, and can’t return them.

£15 for the lot plus p&p, open to offers x

  5. Russian classes have a huge emphasis on technique, in particular strength and developing effective use of turnout. As the classes at LRBS are non-syllabus, they also develop students’ understanding of ballet and ability to pick up exercises quickly, rather than simply doing the same set syllabus exercises each week.

I was going to suggest Masters of Ballet but I wasn't sure where the classes are held ....I had a feeling not in one place so different days would be in different places etc. I think it is Russian based teaching though.

I don't know whether London Russian school in Clapham ...between two tube stations so easy to get to...do classes for eight year olds I can't remember if their programme starts around ten years old...but I could be wrong about this worth checking out.

LRBS have Saturday classes for students aged 5 upwards!💜

I know of one girl who graduated last year and is now working with the Mikhailovsky... I believe others are working in classical companies in Europe and America.

Further to my previous comment... I see that LRBS have announced on their social media that a boy from the school has a contract with the Plovdiv Ballet Theatre in Bulgaria, and a girl has a contract with the Georgian National Ballet- congratulations to these wonderful dancers! :)

Hopefully this also answers your question Coniger regarding graduate destinations :)
