I may be wrong ! But I think only 2 of the 5 girls started in year 7 .
-
Ah that makes more sense !
The Dad was only half listening then !!
My pupil was in the first audition today - 8.45 am
there were only 11 in the group , and similar in the other group , so your DD did exceptionally well to get that far - regardless of the outcome .
Is she doing Hammond and Elmhurst finals too ?
All the best anyway ,

Was anyone at Tring today ? Did someone give the impression that results may be out by tonight?
Or did my pupil’s Dad get the wrong end of the stick ?

Thank you !
And teachers ! I think we are just as anxious about results !
It would be lovely to hear from other candidates . I have 3 students auditioning this time . For year 7 .

Are those figures for upper school and lower school combined ?

We’ve heard nothing from the 9 th Jan Tring audition ( for year 7 )
-
I asked Iain the question the other day and he said first week in Feb ( this is re scholarships )
-
A no for my pupil too .
So Elmhurst finals for one pupil and not the other.
Still some other auditions to do though !
-
Yes !
Waiting is painful .
I think it’ll be Thursday or Friday for Elmhurst results
-
If it is still there , Black Goo is a lovely cafe too .
The other end of the high street from Jack and Alice .
Same side of the road .
If I remember correctly , the Tring results took quite a while
-
Good luck to you too .
If I may be so bold - don’t rule out Tring for classical training - my DS went through from year 9 to Grad year ( despite having offers elsewhere ) .
He secured a classical contract upon graduation , in a great company in Czech Republic , where he has had amazing choreographers come over , ( they’ve just finished a triple bill including a work by Kylian ) .
I do think Tring sometimes gets overlooked , and deemed to be more musical theatre , but their classical work is fabulous too .
A former pupil of mine is in Year 2 of sixth form and has made it to the final 5 of BBC young dancer .
( classical section )
Just a thought or two !!!
Best wishes to everyone auditioning anywhere .

Dont worry about the WL boys - because they may well end up going to Elmhurst or Hammond .
Not everyone who is offered an MDS at Tring accepts it .
Best of luck for Elmhurst - and I believe you already were offered Hammond ?
