I was thinking that too, it's a long wait, in the mean time I now have to now appeal for the local comprehensive school !! My dd thoroughly enjoyed today when we left she was buzzing compared to how disappointed she was on Saturday x

I know how you feel wildflowers, I know everyone keeps saying its such an achievement to get to the finals but the kids don't see it like that, at the end of the day they are kids and it really is hard for them. My dd has been offered a place at Hammond but if she doesn't get an MDS we won't be able to send her so that will be really hard too. Big hugs to your dd I hope she feels better soon xxx

C4D my dd is a no as well she was a bit tearful to start with then said the same - I better show them at Hammond. They bounce back so easy I think I was more upset for her then she was !! Congrats to all the dd and ds that got yes xx

Has anybody got any idea how many MDS places there are for year 7, my DD has been offered a place but this will depend entirely on the funding offered x

No news for us either !!!! Argggghhh the wait is terrible !!!

I thought we might get a letter today but no so we'll just have to wait a little bit longer :-)

Will we hear later in the week so they have chance to review the boys auditions ?

Oldermum, I rang white lodge and asked how many we're on the list and how they determine who is picked first, i was told they will look at the 3 girls records and choose who they think will be most suitable, there is no order. There are 2 boys on reserve so that's maybe where the 5 come from.

We've been told the waiting list stays open until the end of April, it's extremely frustrating and my DD is really feeling the strain, fingers crossed a place may come up, she has auditioned at Elmhurst aswell so just playing the waiting game like lots of other dancing parents x

My DD is on the reserve list which is a nightmare, it's not a no and it's not a yes so we're just in limbo!!!

Now the terrible wait begins for the reply letters, I never realised how stressful the auditioning process was, my daughter recently went to White Lodge finals and the wait for that letter seemed never ending. DD has been put on the reserve list so the wait is still not over !!!
