  2. From my DD experience advanced /professional was mostly experienced dancers but she has done general classes and intermediate at pineapple and found they were fine and a mix of different capabilities ! My DD is 17 and was youngest in there so prob not for under 14 yr olds.

  3. My DD went to Emma's fri morn class at least a year ok . She said there were lots of professionals in the class my daughter found it too hard she was 16 at the time but Emma gave easier steps to younger students . My DD is doing ballet boost with Emma at easter.

  4. Live4ballet best of luck to u my youngest DD didn't start ballet till late as well she didn't audition for any ballet schools at 16 apart from BTUK and she was offered a place but decided she wanted to be an all round dancer and is now doing dance course at Millennium so don't worry that u started late they look at potential x

  5. My DD is at Millennium doing dance course there are older students there, lots are 18 as they wanted to do A levels first so for MT I would say you can be older. My DD didn't start any dancing till 11 but had done competitive gymnastics ! She didn't start what I would call proper ballet till 13 but we knew she wouldn't be good enough to follow that path !

  6. My DD has only just gone back to ballet after not dancing for over a year ! She was constantly told she was too fat !! She was doing full time training and since giving up has told me she hardly ate !! Only nutritional advice she got was don't eat apples ! And have a shot of soup if hungry !! I'm happy she didn't continue although at time it was upsetting . Jan nx yr she is starting RAD teaching course she is now dancing with a lovely teacher who will be her mentor and she is happy .

Can I ask what would be best as she needs to know the syllabus up to intermediate ! What are the DVDs like ! Thanks for any info
