My daughter is a Scottish ballet associate and we made an appointment to get feedback. Was very informal, a 15 min chat but covered everything we wanted to go through.

Hi, My daughter is right handed but is left leg dominant. Does anyone know if this puts her at a disadvantage/advantage? I've tried looking this up but can't find much at all. Thanks!

Hi - Looking for advice/thoughts on how folks have come to a decision on whether to apply for a place at the Dance School of Scotland or instead audition for Scottish Ballet's mid associate scheme (currently in Junior Associates). Mid Associates would mean travelling to Glasgow each Saturday instead of the boarding option at DSS. I've received feedback that attending mid associates each week on top of normal ballet/dance classes (3 a week) just isn't enough if a career in dance is the eventual goal. DSS offers a slightly cut down national curriculum to accomodate dance whereas attending SB associates would allow the full school curriculum to be taught. Would be great to hear from anyone who has first hand experience of both! Thanks

The majority of classes this year clash unfortunately so just not viable (for Edinburgh) anyway, especially at £50 a class! Good luck to all those taking part in either or both

Hi, yes, I received an email yesterday with the class dates for the Scottish ballet Junior associates Sunday class and my daughter was also selected for the ballet West Edinburgh associates Sunday class. Did you receive it?

Hi, It seems most of the dates for 2017\2018 do indeed clash for Ballet West and Scottish Ballet, so such a shame after my dayght was so excited getting into both. You would think this would be avoided?

Hi, I have the same question as you, my daughter has been accepted for both Scottish Ballet Junior associates (Sunday class) and Ballet West Edinburgh Senior associates (which we're over the moon about!) I'm presuming the Sundays don't clash?Timetable for Ballet West is available but not Scottish Ballet?
