drdance Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) I've just seen (via BTUK school) about the competition currently on in Romania - looks like prelims or open rounds for the finals to be held later in USA. They are showing the competition via livestream and the 8-11 category and 12-13 category are both on as archived files from previous days. http://new.livestream.com/worldballetcompetition/wbcopensibiu I have to say it makes interesting viewing. Personally I feel there should be a ban on pointe work for ages 8-11 however there's actually not a whole lot of 'scary' pointe work on display; just lots of very young pointe work (I've seen a LOT worse in older students!).
