betterankles Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Thought people may not be aware that Kenneth MacMillan's Manon will premiere, with 11 subsequent performances at the Opera House Budapest on 13th March. Tamas Solymosi is Artistic Director, and the production is being staged by Gary Harris and Maina Gielgud. There are lovely principals, Aliya Tanykpayeva (previously of Vienna State Opera) and Dimitri TImofeev (Vaganova St Petersburg trained), Shoko Nakamura (ex principal in Berlin), Zoltan Ola to name just two out of four casts... betterankles Posted February 14, 2015 Author Share Posted February 14, 2015 Apologies - I gave the wrong date for Manon in Budapest - it premieres on SATURDAY 28TH FEBRUARY with Alyia Tanykpayeva and Dmitri Timofeev in the roles of Manon and Des Grieux.
