alison Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 I'm not a lawyer, but in my field of business it's not uncommon to have to sign non-disclosure agreements and the like. Anything the person doesn't like can be deleted and/or added in manuscript, and that's perfectly acceptable, but what I suspect happened here is that the guy OCR'd the text, deleted what he didn't like and maybe added other bits so that it wasn't clear what the changes were, and I doubt that is legally acceptable.
