Irish National Youth Ballet, Nutcracker, Dun Laoghaire 9-11th December

This is a charming production of the Nutcracker - they did it last year too, and it's worth watching as ballet, especially given the paucity of live ballet in Ireland.

 

We went to a couple of productions even before we became involved with the company and enjoyed them greatly. (My son is in the junior associates, and his slightly older friend in the junior company.)

 

They're also a great training and development resource for Irish ballet and worth supporting on that basis. But the shows really are fun too!
