The Mikhailovsky (with whom company member Vasiliev and guests Osipova and Polunin will appear) may it seems be preceded by a NYC appearance. [it is wonderful to see a DANCE TABS quote being highlighted in the Segerstrom PR in the Mikhailovsky's regard. One can only hope that fine Company might return to London in the not too distant future.] Watson and Osipova will both later appear in Southern CA in the annual TOUR DE FORCE programme with Marcello Gomes (ABT), Joaquin de Luz (NYCB), Vladimir Shklyarov (Mariinsky), Friedemann Vogel (Stuttgart), 'soloists from the Royal Ballet' and others. The Tony Award Winning AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (directed and choreographed by RB Associate, Christopher Wheeldon, OBE) will also feature in the Segerstrom season. The following was noted on BA: The NYC details remain to be confirmed. Mik will bring Laurencia to SoCal between 11/18-11/20/16, so I assume the NY tour will be the 2 weeks before that and will get Laurencia as well. Osipova and Vasiliev, along with Sergei Polunin will tour with the company. In addition to Le Corsaire and Laurencia, I think NY will also get Swan Lake.
