  2. How long do you think it will take to get a letter from the DADA auditions today? They said to reply by the 30th March if you get a place. I would have thought they would allow at least 3 days to decide, so I would hope the letter would come by the 27th?

  3. I was told the story of a girl (a friend of a friend) who was at white lodge from year 7, and survived every year without fail. Then, after gaining her place at royal sixth form, she quit to try a career in hairdressing.

Some would give their right arm for the opportunities she got, but her heart wasn't in it.

  4. Hello everyone.

Sounds like there is fantastic news for balletcoforum goers this year! Well done to everyone, and everything crossed for this still waiting. :)

Rather curious about the process for Tring. Alongside Lil, I am attending the sixth form DADA auditions tomorrow. Do you find out on the day via phone call? I live 5 hours away from the school, and anxious about missing the phone call if it is on the same day!

  5. Lil - I think they said about a week - but I think Yr 7s waited a week and a half? (correct me if I am wrong!) But they have to get their offers out quick, because other schools already have, and some may get more than one offer, as well as they are setting deadlines for those with a yes to respond. Sorry if this sounds like utter rubbish! ;) Still trying to think positive, and shift it to back of my mind, haha!

  6. I've been an associate at NBT for 4 years now, and couldn't recommend the programme more. Defintely not as obsessive over body types as Royal are, as we have had girls with all sorts of 'limitations' Royal would not touch. Despite this, the standard is always very high, as more and more apply for the associates each year. In my class (SA), both the girls and boys are fantastic, with so much talent.

I never know what they are looking for, as I've known girls try to get in three years in a row who are outstanding, but not getting places, and some who are a little less experienced get in on their first go. Not entirely sure what they look for specifically.

Definitely worth a try though. Good luck! :)
