People don't want to pay it if they haven't got an mds. They arnt in a position to loose £160 when a child can't go if they haven't got funding. It's a lot to loose.

I have, I thought it was necessary but now wish I hadn't as I it seems like lots haven't 😢

I'm the same, I don't know why they offered a place in the school when no funding was available. I'm a single parent and had pancreas issues and live in a caravan to be able to fund my daughters lessons. So I'm definitely in the low income bracket so absolutely gutted for my girl. I cant afford to pay the deposit.

I have just received an email saying I will find out about mds funding on Monday! Oh my god I can't cope with the wait 😬 good luck everyone fingers crossed x

Apparently wait as we have til the 1st of March, but ive filled it in and paid as sometimes funding offers can come in the summer when people hand them back. 😬

When you register on the link, it's none refundable too, so really we need to know about the funding, but I guess you have to be registered with the school for them to request the funding. No clue though.

I think that's good news! Fingers crossed! I'm stuck now as to whether or not to pay the £160 deposit, because if she doesnt get the mds my girl can't go. So could do with knowing about the funding before I accept the place 🤔

My daughters letter has just arrived and I'm not allowed to open it til shes home from school!!! It's addressed to her not me with a gold seal on the back, surely they wouldn't address it to my daughter if it was bad news! I feel I need to open it so I can be prepared if it's not the news we want, but I won't 🤐

Did they give an incline to when we will find out about it, like a week or a few months, or even what the process even is. Do we just get another letter. We are kind of in limbo.

My daughter auditioned on the 18th, had the email saying the letter has gone out, Currently waiting for the postman, her friend hasn't got in and was told that by email. If anyone finds out anymore information on the funding please post as I suspect everyone will be ringing/emailing the school today! Good luck everyone, fingers crossed x
