  1. I haven’t tried any of the suggested ones they emailed out - it seemed such a big task as lots of them had a cap of £1000 or some where we live and I thought it’s just too big of a challenge to find enough funding and then even if we made it for one year what would we do for the next years. I did do the Hammond support fund so just crossing fingers for that. Hope we all hear some positive news soon.
  2. We haven’t either but I was near the deadline when I did ours x
  3. There’s still the support fund to hear about yet isn’t there?
  4. I have been feeling the same - absolutely gutted for my daughter and awful that I can’t afford to fund it for her myself. I assume they over offer places as they expect some may give their funding offer back? My daughter has taken it better than me really, she is being so grown up and she seems to recognise that it’s a great achievement to get an offer and I’m hoping that pushes her to keep going with her dance. Has anyone applied to the support fund? I’m also still in 2 minds about the registration fee - I would be more inclined to pay that if we had an indication of where she is on the waiting list. X
  5. I did and the register said they don’t disclose that x
  6. I would feel better about paying the registration fee if I knew where my daughter was roughly on the list, I understand why they keep it confidential but if it’s a lost cause I won’t pay the £160 🤦‍♀️🤣
  7. Did you email the register to find this out? Glad it’s clarified - time to think of different options
  8. That’s a very good point actually, it has definitely helped her to realise how hard she has worked with her dance by having that recognition. Yes my daughter is applying for year 7 x
  9. Aw yes I liked the letter it reminded me of a Hogwarts letter. My only wish is that I had hidden it away until we knew about the funding as we all got so excited when it arrived. hope the postman hurries up for everyone x
  10. I replied twice by mistake my head isn’t on 🤦‍♀️🤣
  11. The letter is the same one my daughter received so sounds like positive news, just a waiting game now then for the funding - good luck to everyone xx
  12. She said they will let us know in the coming weeks - very much in limbo. They have auditions at the end of feb too so they would need to see those children before deciding I imagine.
  13. I have emailed this morning and the registrar replied to say all children are assessed for funding but no decisions on funding have been made yet x
  14. But then they sent that email saying they were holding offers while they decide funding 🤦‍♀️
  15. Sorry we have been at a comp so busy day and I’ve not had time to reply. Congratulations to all the children and Thankyou for the replies - seems none of us are any the wiser at the moment. I think I’ll send an email on Monday and ask - it’s hard as you can’t get too excited about the offer when the funding isn’t confirmed. We did have to fill in funding forms prior to the audition so they will be aware of our financial circumstances, I’m driving myself mad now over thinking it all 🤦‍♀️
  16. My daughter has received an offer letter this morning but it doesn’t mention anything about funding. Obviously she’s so happy but she understands without funding it won’t be doable x
  17. Good morning, does anyone know how we find out if a place is funded once we receive an offer letter? Good luck to everyone waiting to hear x
