  1. I will be crossing my fingers for Marchand and Dorothée Gilbert. I live in Spain and only travel by train. Due to work commitments I can’t make it to London. Paris is very much my second choice. Much as I love Vadim, I don’t quite see him in this role, although I would definitely go to see him if I could. I would also love to see Marcelino. Again, not quite sure he is mature enough for this role, but I would grab a first row seat for sure if I could. I’ll be very interested to read reviews here on his performances.
  2. Not sure if I should be posting this here. Casting has now been published for Mayerling at Paris Opera. I am very lucky to be able to see Hugo Marchand and Mathieu Gannio (if there are no changes). I would have loved to have been able to get to London to see any of the ROB Mayerling performances.
  3. Wow! His own projects are more important? That would be logical if he was a guest. But étoile?
  4. François Alu is no longer being cast as Rudolph. Is he injured?
  5. José Martinez did a wonderful job trying to bring classical ballet back into the repertoire of the Spanish CND. POB trained, the epitome of a classical prince, and choreographer. Surely a POB director in the waiting?
