Terrible program. 😅😅 Nothing to do with "great" dancers at all. Where oh where did there dredge up the "audience" - highly dubious judgement!! I won't waste my time watching again. The most skilful dancer was canned by an ignorant audience - though he was a bit odd!! and as for the mentor/captain ?? Who was IN the Royal Ballet 😁😁 really?? When?? How?? Lies perhaps??

I totally agree, Capybara. I sat through Winter Dreams last night just wishing that Laura had been paired with Vadim for this one. How heartbreaking and heart-wrenching that performance would have been. Here, all her marvellous efforts and emotional depth just seemed to be hitting a brick wall in front of her and bouncing right back at her. How nothing was absorbed from her by her partner I just don't know. In any case, I quickly saw that I had to concentrate on her alone (when it was just the two of them) and that made it all worthwhile. Lovely performances also from Akane Takada and Claire Calvert as the sisters, and another surprise for me from Nehemiah Kish. Maybe he is making the gradual transition to character dancer. If so, I think he will be very good at it.
Hi liked it and sort of wished Nehemiah Kish had been cast as vershinin instead of hirano
Lovely lovely Concert. Hilarious

Alastair Marriott appears on Instagram photos and is shown on the cast list on the ROH website for the 28 December matinee - if there was a late change, it’s good the website has been updated.
Ben gartside was in the matinee 28th Dec as Herr stahlbaum. Ie daddy

More information about the Cats casting in this link.
The lead roles are all taken by famous actors/actresses. The lead role of the White Cat will be played by Taylor Swift and not Francesca Hayward as has been stated or suggested; instead she plays a kitten and will sing a song.
What Steven McRae and Olivia Cowley will do is not mentioned and former RB soloist Eric Underwood is also participating in the filming.
The film will be released in December 2019.steven McRae is on cast list as Skimbleshanks........

I've had an email reminding me that I'm attending the first night on Tuesday 18th December. It says "for running times, refer to the website." I have - and I'm none the wiser!
I emailed the new contact for running time for les Pat's and he said he would email me when the Royal Ballet told him - How do they expect customers to sort out their return journey to far flung places like South Wales with this unnecessary lack of information?? Bus ticket s need booking now - less than 2 weeks to performance date. They are being very disrespectful to us!!

I am sorry that I appear to have offended people. I used the names I did out of affection and pleasure at the achievement of the principals concerned.
Don't worry you did nothing untoward at all. KOH and Dame Darcey B and ORE all called Marianella - Nela. As was the title of a new ballet NELA on-screen for film viewers so not a problem. We do not live in the 1930 s......
