  1. Please see attached extract from unite tenancy terms and conditions. Definitely does not exclude under 18s from their properties. 1.8 The Tenancy Agreement is an Assured Shorthold Tenancy as defined by sections 19A and 20 of the Housing Act 1988 and the provisions for the recovery of possession by us in the Housing Act 1988 apply to the Tenancy Agreement. 1.9 Subject to clause 1.10 if when this Tenancy Agreement is completed you are under 18 years of age, the Tenancy Agreement will as a matter of law take effect as a licence to occupy until such date as you become 18. 1.10 You must be aged 17 or over before signing this Tenancy Agreement. 1.11 If you are aged 17 or over but under 18 years of age, you must notify us at least 4 weeks in advance of the Check In Date of any reasonable adjustments in connection with your occupation of the Room which you wish to request. We shall be under no obligation to make any adjustments, but will act reasonably in considering your request
  2. Parkway gate have rooms available just now, 44 week lease. When I toured the rooms they didn’t mention any issue with under 18’s. If a few are able to take up the rooms we can ask if they can keep NBS people together as there must be some ability to move single tenants about.
  3. For anyone looking. There are rooms available at Parkway Gate tonight, not restricted to MMU.
  4. Hi Hi, at my daughters audition everyone did a solo. The audition comprised, warm up, ballet class, contemporary class and then improv group type class, followed by solos. There is a talk by the principal first which parents can attend but then you need to leave. I walked into Richmond which was about 15 minute walk along the river, plenty of coffee shops there.
  5. We made appointments with unite and viewed both, as you say they are just around the corner. They say they are fully booked for next year but if you are interested keep checking the website as rooms have been coming up in both.
  6. Parents come back for the Q&A. NBS look after the parents with tea and coffee set up for you in the morning in a studio where you can wait and then a presentation by the deputy principal after lunch break followed by a tour.
  7. That’s amazing thanks so much for the info.
  8. Morning all. Northern has been at the top of my DDs list since she was there in the Summer. We are auditioning soon and I just wanted to make sure that we were fully informed so we could ask all our questions when we are there. Did your children enjoy their Dance experience there? Did they find it easy to make their choice at the end of year 1? Do they still have a varied timetable thereafter? What are the hours, is it Mon-Fri or do they also dance Sat mornings? Does your dancer have a part time job? Where did they stay in the first year? Quality of teaching? For the Northern graduate how easy has it been to gain employment with a dance diploma from Northern. And most importantly did your dancer enjoy their time there. thanks
  9. Yup that’s me been lurking around reading all these posts and feeling thankful it’s not just me!!
  10. Hi there, my DD is looking at both of these schools for her diploma, any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks
