My DD loved it too. She said there were 30 in the yr7&8 group and they got to watch the older ones whilst waiting for physio which was fun. She made a couple of friends too and all in all had a lovely time. What will be will be now x

Anyone know when we will hear from the MDS recalls today? There wasn’t as many kids as I thought there would be this morning. Hope they all have a brilliant time x

Just to say good luck to all the kids for tomorrow. I hope they all have an amazing time and enjoy the experience. How exciting for them to be dancing in an actual studio after so many months of the living room and kitchen being their dance spaces! x

I would’ve thought bare feet or foot things would be better for lyrical but I’m no expert in these things. That’s what my daughter is going for anyway

My daughter's also very chilled about it all ..... but super excited at the same time, and the fact she gets to dance in a dance studio for the first time in months is even more exciting!!😂  I guess as long as they've got their ballet gear, which i assume they arrive wearing under their tracksuit, then they can wear that for everything.  Just added a pair of jazz shoes and jazz sneakers just in case too.  

That’s the route we’re going down too in terms of clothes and footwear. It’ll all be grand and as long as the kids enjoy it that’s all that really matters x

It’s us parents that are more concerned about this than the kid’s (well my daughter is very chilled about it all). I can’t imagine it’ll be more than a couple of dance classes as they’ve seen a lot in their audition videos already haven’t they. Hope so anyway. 

Still no emails! Will they have to do academic tests on the afternoon as they suggested in some earlier emails? We’ve been offered a place so presume the offer isn’t depending on test scores 

I wouldn’t have thought they would be able to change given they have to go dressed due to covid restrictions but maybe we will know more in the email tomorrow

We had the same email for yr 8 place. Do all successful kids get called back for the funding audition then?
