No was expecting to not hear anything until end of May for both so was a surprise to get this today

We got a not this time email but that’s ok. It was her first time trying so sure she will try again next year. Awaiting associates results by the end of May. Good luck everyone 

My daughter said she had a good day but also felt like there were a few things she could’ve done better / messed up on (in her words) but she enjoyed it so that’s the main thing. It’s a long wait until the end of May to find out!

Yeah it just says small groups doesn’t it. All I know is my dd is number 5!

Ours has been viewed 7 times. No idea how I check for length of viewing - sent ours on YouTube 

I had a email from them saying everyone will be emailed on 29 March with an outcome

My DD will be gutted but it’s good to learn young that there are set backs but to keep on keeping on. No idea if there are any waiting lists, nothing mentioned in the email about MDS recall. Then I get another email inviting us to a zoom welcome session, guess that’s automated if we were to be able to self fund this - which we can’t! 

Our email just in. My DD (for yr8 entry) hasn’t got an MDS place. Says she still has a place but would have to be self funded. No mention of a waiting list so think all places must’ve been accepted? Not to worry, a good experience and nice to be offered a place even if she can’t take it up. 

Hoping we get an email today after the recalls 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Maybe the school are doing their sums over the weekend to work out how they can offer us all funding 🤣🤞🏻

The school moved to new boarding accommodation in September 2021, and whilst it isn’t as homely, it’s certainly more practical with all rooms having en-suite and year 10 and upwards having their own rooms. DD loves the school which has not only nurtured her love of ballet, but also helped strengthen other dance genres such as modern and tap. She also discovered she could sing! From year 10 they now have a choice of following a classical/contemporary or musical theatre/jazz route in lessons. I like the teaching staff on the whole and the headmistress and new head of boarding are very approachable and enthusiastic.

Given covid restrictions we haven’t been able to visit the school or boarding houses, what are the boarding houses like? Have heard differing views!

But why call any other yr groups in at all if that’s what they do? Gives false hope to the poor kids

That’s my thinking to as they told me that they usually offer MDS to yr 7 first. They’ve all done amazing so if this is the end of the road for now I’ll still be proud as punch 

Maybe they allocate yr7s and see what they have left from acceptances? Who knows! 

Congratulations to everyone who has been successful so far. My DD would be going into yr8, has anyone heard back for that yr group yet? Kind of thinking she has been unsuccessful as no news either way at the moment.
