Hi yes we did.  I used a Chromebook and it was very quiet.  Couldn't do the video where we have the big TV as wouldn't have been the correct flooring.  

It's not ideal but you can hear them.  Much easier to follow a zoom class but imagine that would have been very difficult for them to arrange.

It has taken nearly 24 hours to download the files and realised the silly go pro put it into 2 files due to the length (per video).  It's a continuation of the first one but 6 videos in total 🙈😓.  Have had to submit one in the link the other in the password box to send it across.  My phone didn't work so it was the only way to do it.  Hopefully they will still watch it 🤞

I imagine they are looking at the flexibility part, musicality and the jumps etc.  Must be taking them ages to do.

Hi just re read the e mail and it said about doing the ballet class all in one go.  My daughter did but I had to do video 1 then stop click the link then a second and third video.  Will it matter it's 3 videos? It was stressful trying to get it to record and click on my Chromebook etc.  I obviously lost the ability to multi task 🙈

They sent a reminder e mail out for group 2.  We are doing my daughter's video tomorrow as had to wait for a couple of things so could do the video.

Ours is due the 5th we haven't done it yet as the e mail went into the junk folder.  Oops.  Have ordered a tripod and going to record on the go pro as my phone video isn't great and won't record long enough.  Such a shame they can't have the full experience but assume it's just like a zoom lesson Good luck everyone

Thank you.  The BBC news just says indoor sports restricted to 6 today.  Glad you have made it clearer the dance schools are taking lots of precautions and covid secure

That's good to know.  It didn't say anything clearly in the news regarding that today

My daughter has loved being back at dance.  Just read the rule of 6 applies to indoor sports too.  Such a shame as her ballet teacher will need to do some juggling/extra classes or zoom to accommodate this.

Completely understand and happy to follow all the rules.  Just feel for the teachers and pupils managing the changes.

Some may not be earning and able to pay for lessons at the moment.  I appreciate the idea of paying for fees but it's worth taking into consideration.  It's a hard time for everyone and it's heartbreaking to see the impact all around.  I hope all industries recover and I'm thinking of everyone at this time.

My DD is stretching at home, practicing as she is able and missing dance already.  We obviously have commitments of school work and helping unwell relatives and those in self isolation in the mix too.

Although all of son's football training and matches have been cancelled.  Unsure why they are taking a different line.

My daughters ballet school is still open.

How are people getting on with the photos.  Just looking through them to pick now.  It's hard as some have better feet and some better arms 🙈.  Dd is only 8 so sure they are just looking for general ability.

I would hope so of the weather is as bad as they predict.  I know a lot of the train and bus services are cancelled due to the warning.

Have packed my DD's bag ready as you never know it may be sunshine 🙂

Amber alert issued and royal ballet insight day tomorrow morning in Totnes.  They have sent an e mail to contact if any issues.  Hopefully the forecast is wrong.  Everyone stay safe if it is as bad as predicted.
