  1. Thank you for these lovely tributes to Kevin. It's good to hear more about his life before he came to Switzerland. I just wanted to share some memories of him here in Basel. As some of you may know, he was a contributor to an English-speaking radio show here for a number of years (I'm the producer of the show). He was our Arts Correspondent, telling our listeners about dance productions coming up in the Basel region. He also did interviews with dancers, singers and choreographers. It was always so much fun when he came into the radio studio. I say "came into the studio" – it was more like *burst into* the studio, full of energy and pizzazz and laughter. I loved hearing his stories and we all really appreciated his contributions to the show. His last broadcast with us was last spring. We did a whole show about cancer support and awareness – Kevin's idea, in fact. He was kind and brave and open enough to talk about his diagnosis and ongoing treatment. He wanted to get the information that he had out there to the listeners. We had an emotional and warm-hearted and – yes – funny time recording the segment in the studio. He also picked all the songs for that show. Even though the show itself was about such a serious topic, the music reflected joy, happiness, optimism and a fighting spirit, and we played songs like Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" and Monty Python's "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life". If anyone wants to listen to the show or his segment on the show, it's here: http://theenglishshow.com/shows/2018-04-24 He will always be remembered on our team, and his voice still rings out bright and clear. - Anna
