We were at audition on Tuesday. They said up to 6 working days. Suspect all the results will come together but not actually told as much.

Slightly off topic. But does anyone know how many weekends the children are allowed to go home if they go to Elmhurst?

Has anyone applied to the US or Canadian schools SIs? Are they worth it? We have friends/family who could accommodate our 11 yr old

We had two children at the same vocational school, one started at 11 and the other at 17. We now would have held onto our daughter til later. 

Would you mind maybe setting out some of those reasons?

Last year we had no instructions on equipment beyond the mat. Eventually they all took therabands but I don’t think they were asked to. 
 

This year we have a different teacher and we’ve been given a specific Theraband and optional massage ball. Definitely varies by teacher.

It doesn't happen a lot but they will see potential and offer a place based on what they see. Maybe one from the summer schools every year. Sadly there is no feedback - this is the same if you have a vocational space there!

 

Did anyone on here get offered a fast track to auditions, place, or straight entry to the next SI? I know it happens but don’t know if anyone was selected this year

Apologies if I’m repeating a question but I can’t see it - does anyone know if WL places are ever offered off the back of the SI? I couldn’t work out why else they’d ask on the form if you were interested but it surprised me. Thanks

When we did an insight day, we were told they give preference to Y6 over Y4, Y5 over Y4 etc so 🤞🤞

We were similar. My DD was ready for G2 last year but with lockdown in the way, the exam was pushed and she was bored.  One benefit of Covid though was that she could do her exam videoed and alone so her teacher recommended that and she jumped into a G3 class that was almost ready for the exam. She’s much happier 🤞

We’re waiting for her regular grading results to come out too - I’m impatient now! 

Us too. She did G2 in Feb half term and we still haven’t heard. I’ve almost forgotten about it as she’s about to do her G3 exam 🤦‍♀️

It could be a straight yes. Or anything. I really don’t think we can know. And it could be Google analytics being strange. I realised that the first time I looked at the analytics, I’d looked at the averages and as we’d viewed them all for a second, it looked like none had been viewed properly. 🤞🤞🤞 and hopefully we’ll know soon 😊💕
