  1. Hi,

My daughter is faced with being signed off dance for a while for medical reasons. We would miss the rest of the term at the very least, hopefully she will have recovered in time for September.

We have already paid deposits for summer intensives, which she won’t be able to attend either. That’s not ideal but we can live with that as the deposits have not been too extortionate.

We have however not paid our dance school for the rest of the term yet, as we pay on a half termly basis. Under normal circumstances we have to give half a terms notice, which I think is standard, but in this case obviously that won’t be possible.

We stand to lose a lot of money if the studio insists we pay for the remainder of the term so I wanted to ask for your input with this. Do we just have to pay up, or how would your schools handle this?

Thanks @Tuliprose I’ve managed to apply-  it is the ‘modify registration’ button using the confirmation number from the Spring application, then clicking through to add Summer. I’ve received a confirmation too 😊

I can’t locate this button, where is it? I only have the option to view our spring registration, I can’t amend it? If I start another registration it says I’ve already registered…

Is this the shop? https://www.dancepointe.co.uk because there is a phone number down the bottom of the page.

That’s the one. The number isn’t working, my calls are instantly disconnected.

I can see that the skirt I ordered is now sold out, so it looks like they are taking orders? Is this a scam

website? Really odd. Unfortunately this will be the first and last time I order from them. I will try to get a refund from Amex.

  4. A part of the seam at the top is missing (to the right of the pinch front), please see second photo. Not noticeable and not unraveling any further in the wash. There are two seams at the top and only one of them is missing, about 2 cm.

Otherwise in great condition, very lightly worn due to a growth spurt.

    £25 including postage

  5. Hi, I am terribly sorry for not updating but my family and I have been really unwell with the flu, only just back to normal. I have replied to everyone who messaged me directly regarding these (there were quite a few messages waiting for me now that I logged in again), and I will update this post as soon as I have heard back.

    Thanks

  6. Hello,

I was wondering whether anyone has bought from dancepointeshop ? I placed an order in late November, which was confirmed. Since then I haven’t heard anything, despite the order confirmation saying that I would receive updates re processing and dispatch.

Ive tried emailing but I receive an error message to say that their inbox is full. I’ve also messaged on Instagram but their account doesn’t seem active.

does anyone have any connection to them, or any advice on how to get hold of them? Thank you in advance

  8. I believe once you’re in finals you have about a one in three or a one in four chance depending on age group?

and agree re parking. Don’t park at Halfords next door, we got a ticket last year where the cameras only recorded my first and last entry on the day - despite us only stopping for a couple of minutes each of the three times I came and went. It was the first audition which included the recall so according to them I had been parked for four hours or so. I appealed, they insisted, so I had to pay in the end or it would have been the small claims court next
