  1. My daughter is going week 1. I have not thought yet about the car situation. public transit is better, but if not workable, I will look at driving
  2. Thank you I figured but you know how a mother's heart worries. We are coming from so far and will be all out of our element and all of that, but we are looking forward to the trip and she is looking forward to the ballet
  3. Thank you, this is helpful . Maybe we could spend the week in York and then on to London when she is completed. Is there lodging for us in Retford? And things to do, or really York is best? I hadn't considered York, and I really thank you for the information, I think that could be very fun! I know it may sound silly, but as to lodging for the dancers, 4-5 girls of same age, how is safety there?
  4. My daughter will be attending this intensive this summer. If anyone has been, could you please tell me what lodging is like and the location? I am coming from United States in my family and I would like to stay in London and have a holiday while she is there is this possible or is it too far?
  5. Got a no ????. Try again next year I suppose
  6. I sent out application last Monday from the USA. I got email confirmation today, so I bet you will get your confirmation in a timely manner. No worries!
  7. believe it or not it seems as though a foreign SS will be better for us financially than a stateside SS even factoring in airfare, which is how she convinced me
  8. Would it still be appropriate for a younger dancer? (my dd will be 13- close to 14 at the time of the intensive)
  9. I am new to all of this. We are in the US. My daughter wants to attend an international intensive. Prefer UK or France. Is this intensive something highly rated?
  10. I looked at Opes, don't see audition requirements. How do you apply?
