I clarified in another post that the met police informed incorrectly that it was royal Brompton but then corrected on Friday that it was the royal Berkshire, however, the fact she took a taxi to Marble Arch and was last seen on cctv there around 11am on Thursday is confirmed.

The police have asked for missing persons poster to be shared as widely as possible. I don’t know if I can put it on here? Or how to?

Hi - the met police clarified today she got a taxi to Marble Arch yesterday morning from Reading. (They gave the wrong info when they said she came from royal Brompton it was Royal Berkshire). She was seen on cctv around 11am in Marble Arch. She is still missing. They are asking dance students to share this on social media in hopes someone she has been in touch with sees it.

She was in fact at the Royal Brompton Hospital in South Kensington, she did get into a cab and ask to go to Marble Arch. The initial reports were mistaken with the Royal Berkshire Hospital. As far as I know she is still missing, the police are extremely concerned for her in the weather conditions. Please could people share the news story on their social media, as police are looking for all help they can get in locating her before it is too late.
Thanks

Thanks amos73 most helpful - I just wish their instructions were. At least this year's new on-line system makes everything easier.
I assume that if you didn't get a scholarship and then decide you still want to go you can submit the application form and photos?
I wasn't sure about that. The woman from the office just said to me if you want to be considered for both send in both before the 11th March audition. Which I took to mean you needed to do that before if so.
I would email her direct or call, she seems very helpful.

They said to me if you want to apply regardless of whether they get scholarship do both, if only interested in scholarship place then just that application

Do you know, I bet she was just a normal little girl with a natural talent & love of dance that was allowed to develop at a pace more suited to a growing body & developing mind than we seem to allow our kids today with the competitive thrusting for places & prizes!
Yes!

Good grief - don't they have a metal pole or something they pull her up on?
No! I thought it was some kind of mechanical lift platform like the one she comes down on when she steps through the window. Couldn't believe it when she told me.

I was at the final evening performance and it looked packed in the auditorium.
When I asked my dc who was dancing with them how the sylph disappears up the chimney she told me two of the cast haul her up by her arms, so there is padding on the inside of it because she invariably bangs her legs on it!

Yes Caesars dancing was so fantastic yesterday but it was only on the way home that I started thinking just HOW easy he made leaping on and off and spinning around on that table!! Completely seemed to take that for granted! Amazing!! Also Jia Zhang is another dancer who really dances so well with her eyes. She stood out for her dancing in the Nutcracker and am looking forward to seeing more of her.
I completely forgot to mention the children from yesterday's performance they were really good and totally captivating....with excellent stage presence ........from the West London Academy I believe? I will find out more about this Academy as it deserves supporting ......don't know how much public money it gets and so on.
The children were from Young Dancer's Academy in West London, they don't get any public money but they do a lot of fund raising and I think currently 50% of the students there are on some kind of scholarship/bursary. They have had the most incredible experience touring with ENB in the Autumn and performing at the Coliseum these past two weeks!
P.S. It does deserve supporting as they are a fantastic vocational school but don't get any government support. There is a gala dinner with Darcey Bussell on March 8th which is for the specific purpose of raising funds for the scholarship and bursary fund - more details are on the school website https://www.westlondonschoolofdance.co.uk

Two years ago when DD auditioned I think there were about 55 girls at Elmhurst finals for y7.
Last year at WL I think they took around 60 for Y7 finals, from what I remember hearing on here?
Good luck to everyone waiting!!

Hi aileen
Yes they have one more week. She is definitely going to be very sad when it is all over and they are back to reality. Getting a taste of company life has been so inspiring for her.
I will ask her tonight if she has a favourite!

Hello Aileen - yes they did the tour weeks with ENB as well in october.
La sylphide is the first production that their school have been asked to provide children for ENB.
Tring provides the children for nutcracker.
It has been an amazing experience for the children and they have loved every second of it!
