I see no indication of an "enormous" number of performances from the Tass report?
Yes, the choice of the word was mine, sorry about that
May I explain my point?
Even if Osipova will do just one performance of each title, however we know for sure that there are 2 Giselles, for me it looks like too many of the titles (performances) for the dancer who has to go to another stage, hasn’t she?
Let’s skip Giselles and December, what do we see?
5 big and serious roles in a short period of time, isn’t that
Rehearsal time plus travelling, so will be there the time to rest and dance (in London?)? As we know that Osipova has a problem with her feet and after such a quick return to the stage in Milan, Moscow then Novosibirsk allows (me) to think that she did not have any operation, so the workload should be, shall I say, “more safe”?
Shall I mention that Giselles are “back to back” - 1 and 2 December.
Maybe I am wrong but can not get rid of the thought that just after the recovering the workload looks a bit... let’s say - strange
The Bolshoi has a year’s book, according to that
La Sylphide March (3) and June (4) 2016
According to the above - it is why I wrote “enormous”
How many times will people see Osipova on stage in London?

Something really going on behind "the doors"
The main Russian news agency today announced the news - Osipova returning to the Bolshoi as a guest artist,
contract has been signed for (enormous) amount of performances, starting with December's Giselles, then - Don Quixote (renewal on the main stage), then La Sylphide, then La Bayadere, then Le Corsaire and Onegin. Impressive?
That is not all, Mr Urin announced that Natalia Osipova will participate in the Bolshoi tour to London in summer 2016
The ROH will remain silent?

Last night Natalia Osipova was in the audience, watching Polunin dancing Rhapsody and Marguerite and Arman (Stanislavsky Theatre)
She confirmed doing Giselle at the Bolshoi two days in the row, back to back, on 1 and 2 December
Good sign - Osipova is fit and ready to dance

Alina Cojocaru is scheduled with Queensland Ballet for 3 performances (The Sleeping Beauty)
on 23, 24, 27 of October

The evening performance on Thursday - cast sheets were available without the need to buy a booklet, they printed plenty of the sheets (much more than the people were in)
As usually in situations with the poor sales (Vishneva, Cinderella, Solo), the ushers invited all the people to move forward from the back & more central ;-)- people were pleased

"Guests also witnessed the world premiere of “Zeitgeist” by The Royal Ballet’s principal dancers Natalia Osipova and Edward Watson. The performance, which was choreographed by Alastair Marriott, left more than a few audience members dabbing at the tears in their eyes."
Interesting. Wonder if we shall get a chance to see it sometime?
Quite soon!
The World Premiere Zeitgeist announced on July 17-18, 2015 Coliseum
First part Ardani 25 Dance Gala

Tickets are still in very plentiful supply, some seats that were sold have come back on for sale. Is it normal for a world premiere starting in less than a month, to be so selling so poorly? Perhaps it will pick up nearer the time. I am beginning to wish I had held out a bit longer.
Is there any clue as to the running time? I imagine as it is full length - what does that mean exactly, does a ballet have to be a certain length to be considered full length or do they pad out what is essentially a short piece, with as many intervals as they think they can get away with?
I am guessing that if it is 'full length', the programme notes will run into several volumes!
MacGregor said on 15th (Insights) it will be aprox. 95 min + interval, so around 2 hours

Some people might not like the (Grigorovich's) choreography, which is acceptable and the matter of (personal) taste.
Only thing is that those people who are seeing Spartacus in the Legend might consider that actually it should be vice versa?
The Stone Flower 1957
Legend of Love 1961
Spartacus 1967
Again, the style and the choreo might not catch your eye but it is sooner that you may see some Legend in Spartacus,
Grigorovich developed the idea (symbolic) since the Stone Flower all the way through those 3 ballets, even if you do not see-or-think so.
