Whilst driving today there was a truly moving interview with Mr Putrov & a Swedish based Russian dancer (Dimitri something….sorry, M25 was stressful so I didn’t get all the details)...
Dmitry Zagrebin was a former Bolshoi's dancer, now with Royal Swedish Ballet

After I had a problem with booking by using a credit card at first and then a debit card, which didn't work either, I phoned the Coliseum and they admitted that their online system didn't work properly. They sold a ticket to me on he phone and I can collect it before the performance. Wasted about 30 min. altogether but luckily got a ticket that I wanted.

You are right, Richard LH, she is recovering now. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the 14th.

There are no equivalents in Russian language to such articles like English "the" and "a".

This is "The Nutcracker" performed by the students of the Vaganova Academy:

Choreography by Vassily Vainonen. Masha as Princess is danced by Maria Koshkareva. In the role of the Nutcracker-Prince is Misha Barkijija, who graduated from Vaganova Academy two years ago and is dancing now at Mariinsky Theatre. -

Marion Tait, Natalia Makarova and Galina Ulanova all danced Juliet in the later part of their careers...
Lizzbie1 wrote: "And Fonteyn was 45 for the premiere."
It is true that Ulanova, the first ever Juliet in ballet, continued dancing this role until she was 49 but, unlike Fonteyn, she made her debut as Juliet in 1940, at the age of 30.

Since the topic on streaming is closed I am putting out this link here:

You should have had an email yesterday telling you that there will be random spot checks you need either evidence of Covid vaccination or a lateral flow or PCR test from last 24 hours. Perhaps check your junk mail?
Thank you, LinMM. I haven't received an email, perhaps, because I didn't buy online but in person from the RAH box office. Luckily, I have my booster card.

It seems as if audience members need to bring Covid passes, proof of vaccination or a lateral flow test result.
I bought my paper ticket at RAH box office in early 2020 and enquired last week on the phone if my ticket is valid, just to be sure. They confirmed that it is valid but didn't mention any Covid passes, proof of vaccination or test result. Where this information appeared?

After seeing Osipova's tragic Giselle in the last two weeks I remembered and found a video of her rehearsing with Carlos Acosta when she just joined the RB. So ethereal and light but at the same time profound and intelligent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQO4Asq5YRE
