Circe
Thanks for posting Jazzpaws The form asks for information about about music exams and singing... Does anyone know if this is an important factor in the decision making at Central?
veryskint
Things may have changed but my DS who is in third year is a terrible singer - apparently he only hit the right note once in the whole of last year He did music at school but not to an advanced level.
Circe
Thats reassuring veryskint. Could be interesting listening in on their classes though!
Jazzpaws
My DD passed grade 1 piano (distinction) 2 years ago but gave up because of dancing commitments - wonder if that's worth a mention
Tulip
My daughter is in second year now and her audition had nothing to do with singing or playing a musical instrument.
Lottie
My DS, who is also 3rd Year at Central, says that he's a terrible singer. He says that they always give him songs to sing that are too high for him. He didn't play a musical instrument either and wouldn't have had the time to learn one either as he was dancing 5 days out of 7 from year 8 or 9. Keeping up with all the homework was bad enough.
