Our talented young dancers will be showcasing their skills in the School’s annual Summer Performances at the New Wimbledon Theatre. The performances will involve all students of the School and will feature Act lll of Kenneth MacMillan’s The Sleeping Beauty as well as other classical and contemporary works including award winning choreography from Director of Dance Carlos Valcárcel.

 

This will be the first Summer Performance under the Directorship of Carlos Valcárcel who joined the School in October 2017.

 

Mr Valcárcel said “I am thrilled to be directing my first Summer Performance for English National Ballet School and look forward to giving all students the opportunity to perform in the varied repertoire we will be showcasing. I would like also to thank English National Ballet for kindly loaning us their lavish costumes and set so we can perform MacMillan’s iconic ballet, The Sleeping Beauty”.
