On August 23, the Petipa Awards will be held in San Francisco.  The laureates are Natalia Makarova, Pierre Lacotte in memoriam, Lucia Laccara, Hugo Marchand and the Dutch National Ballet.

I hadn’t heard of this organisation or gala before now ….

The organisers are also part of the team arranging the annual Dance Open Festival in St Petersburg.  I wonder if they still are?
