Three Counties Youth Ballet Summer 2018

We were so very fortunate to have Joseph Sissens from the Royal Ballet Company working with TCYB during the two week summer school that lead to performances in early August 2017. Joseph was teaching daily class, coaching, mentoring and choreographing during the two weeks. The students learned so much from having his input and realised what a privilege it was to have him there every day. Joseph is now our Patron and will again be working with TCYB in the summer of 2018. We had both vocational students ( Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Elmhurst and Tring Park) and non vocational students dancing in the company.

 

Preparations for Season 6 are fully underway with auditions fast approaching. If you would like to audition please contact:

AUDITION INFORMATION 
 SEASON 6 - Summer 2018

Successful students will work over a two-week period, commencing Monday 23RD July 2018, through to Sunday 5th August (there will not be rehearsals on Sunday 29th July 2018). 
Rehearsals are from 9.15am-5.15pm each day and will be held at:
 Hertford Theatre, The Wash, Hertford SG14 1PS.
There will be three performances of the company repertoire taking place at the Hertford Theatre, two on Saturday 4th August and a Matinee performance on Sunday 5th August 2018.

There will be two opportunities to audition for TCYB so if you are unable to make one of the dates we hope you might be able to make the alternative.

 

OCTOBER 2017 AUDITIONS

Sunday 1st October 2017

 

The venue is:
Datchworth Village Hall, 52 Datchworth Green, Knebworth, Herts. SG3 6TL

 

Audition times will be as follows:

AGE 8** - 10.00am- 11.00am (9.30am registration) 
**Younger children auditioning must be 8 years old by the 31st DECEMBER 2017 

AGE 9-10 (@31/08/18)- 10.00am- 11.00am (9.30am registration)

AGE 11-12(@31/08/18) - 11.30am- 12.45pm (11.00am registration)

AGE 13-14 (@31/08/18) - 1.45pm-3.00pm (1.15pm registration)

AGE 15+ (@31/08/18) - 3.30-4.45pm (3.00pm registration)

(Please arrive 30minutes prior to audition time, to register, collect your number and warm-up)

 

JANUARY 2018 AUDITIONS

Watton-at-Stone Memorial hall, Watton-at Stone, Herts, SG14 3RZ

Audition times will be as follows:

 

AGE 8** - 10.00am- 11.00am (9.30am registration)
