We also got a wait list place for London. My DD is 8. The letter said that all wait listed kids get the online programme. Wondering what everyone's thoughts about doing the online programme are?
My daughter also got short waiting list for Manchester and online lesson. I would be interested in knowing how people have got on with the online too.

Well I never thought I’d get to post a positive story but after two years of straight No’s (No wait list/no onlines just no’s) my daughter actually got a Yes for Y6 Manchester! So if you’re reading this disappointed as I have been previously then take heart ❤️ and if you’re near a Ballet Boost associate class try out for them because they’ve made all the difference to my daughter I think. Well
done to all the Yes’s and it really is not the door closing if your daughter is disappointed this year x

Last year there were several classes and we were able to swap to one that was a better time for us. There was a 9-10.15 and also an 11-12.15 that we knew of.
Great thank you!

Does anyone know what time the online classes are on the Sunday usually?

We have been given waiting list and online classes for Manchester has anyone else had this before and then got a yes ?

Hello all.
I have been following this post for some time and decided to make my first post today. This is my first experience of RBS junior associates. ( although we have done the mid associates auditions with my oldest before. )
I wish I'd seen this posting earlier than I did - pre our audition - as I very stupidly put my DD in non convertable tights for her audition ( what was I thinking !!) so totally worried I have blown her chances. So annoyed with myself. They were required to show their feet so I feel I let her down in not thinking it through really.
Like you all have mentioned my DD had a wonderful experience at the audition where the teachers were so kind and friendly and she came out full of joy and optimism - which is so lovely regardless of the outcome that she has achieved much from this application. Also like most of you I am more nervous than her!!!
I have really appreciated reading these posts and thank you all for your helpful insights and support. It's so lovely that as a community we can feel supported by one another and gain from others knowledge and experience .
I wish you and your lovely children all the best in the coming weeks as we hear the results. Even if we all don't get the results we wish for I hope everyones DC gains from this experience and still feels very proud of themselves - they have achieved much to have auditioned in the first place.
My daughter auditioned in Manchester and there were many girls in tights as that’s what it stated on the email ( it said to wear either) I’m sure it would make no difference. The email also mentions results coming out at the beginning of July. Good luck everyone! We’ve given it a second chance this year as my daughter wasn’t successful last year but fingers crossed face to face shows her ability much better than a video, like everyone else.

Can I just ask a question..if my daughter is lucky enough to get in to year 4 JA in Leeds does anyone know if they are weekly or fortnightly classes as we will be travelling a distance so just wondered how often we would be going?
-
Was that for JA that your video was viewed?

That’s good to know. Thanks

Thanks we have put the application in anyway and will see what happens. I didn’t realise it was in school time. We will cross that bridge anyway if she is lucky enough to come to that.

I didn’t realise that, can you just do the Sunday’s and not the Fridays?
-
Is it in the evenings then on a friday? or do they miss school? We live about an hour from Manchester so just wondering how we are going to do this logistically?
Thanks

Hello,
First timers here 👋
I am a little confused. Could someone advise me? It mentions filming the videos from beginning to end as if the children are doing a class. It also mentions that videos should be no more than 20 minutes. The 3 videos together are longer than 20 mins so which part do I edit out? Do I just cut out the parts where they teach the exercises?
Also the W position. Does anyone know what this is supposed to show? I have never seen it before and am intrigued.
I’m new to all this too and asked the same question about the 20 minutes video. I got a response saying that’s for the other auditions not the junior associates. Hope that helps.
I also have a question for anyone who has does this in Manchester before. If my daughter was lucky enough to get in, what time were the sessions and is it once a week you attend?

Just out if interest how many are on the online classes and are they at different time throughout the day?
