  1. It’s not just the Hammond still waiting on forms, I have friends with children going to Elmhurst, Tring and W.L - none of them have received the MDS forms yet.
I spoke to Hammond last week and they’re still waiting to receive them - it’s a national thing, I assume no other funding can be allocated until MDS is sorted. So it’s the government being slow with the paperwork.

Our financial situation has drastically changed since we put in our initial forms so we’re desperate to get the new ones through.

My daughter and I would definitely be up for a meet up, providing everything works out she’d be boarding.

  2. @Petruska @Shelovesdance what day did your daughter’s audition? Mine was told on the day she had a funded place but we’re still awaiting confirmation on how much funding this will be. I called the school last week and they said we can expect to hear this week 🤞🏻

I wasn’t aware there was an Easter intensive, I’ll have a look!

Does anyone know the time for Eastleigh year 5? I have a very excited little girl starting in September 😊

Same here, I asked but I don’t think anyone knows. There’s three Eastleigh Yr5’s on here then including your daughter :)

WELL DONE everyone! SO many yesses and SWLs! And to the nos, I'm sure we'll be joining you soon! I hope your children aren't too disappointed. JAs is far from being the be all and end all!

    Any Eastleigh results out yet?

Yes, my dd got yr 5 Eastleigh x

I keep getting random emails from the Royal School of Ballet and it makes my heart jump every time as I think it is JA results. I swear they have sent more that usual in the last week just to test my nerves.
Talking of random emails, they sent one about the online summer intensive. It seems strange to have it mid July when most schools haven’t broken up for the summer yet. Such a shame as my DD did the online spring intensive and really enjoyed it.
🤞we get some results tomorrow xx

I keep getting random ones too!

My dd isn’t old enough for the intensives but I thought the same thing about the dates when I saw them - even the London schools don’t break up that early 🤷🏻‍♀️

My emails say we got last years on Nov 9th.

    23rd Oct for us 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m assuming everyone means the 2019 application results came out in the June of that year. We didn’t even get the video audition details until September last year x

We were similar. My DD was ready for G2 last year but with lockdown in the way, the exam was pushed and she was bored.  One benefit of Covid though was that she could do her exam videoed and alone so her teacher recommended that and she jumped into a G3 class that was almost ready for the exam. She’s much happier 🤞

    That’s brilliant 👍🏻

Us too. She did G2 in Feb half term and we still haven’t heard. I’ve almost forgotten about it as she’s about to do her G3 exam 🤦‍♀️

Wow that was quick in between the two! My dd did her Grade 1 exam last month (which had been cancelled from last year), but her teacher wants to move her up to the Grade 3 class but their exam isn’t until early July so she’s in class limbo currently while she waits for them to finish prep. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Mine were all viewed 11th May and I’ve just looked again and they are being viewed right now 😱

Exciting! Ours were viewed properly weeks ago and then 45 secs on each last week 😂 who knows what that means, I’ve stopped trying to guess! 😂 🤷🏻‍♀️

We’re waiting for her regular grading results to come out too - I’m impatient now!

Sorry to be silly, new to all this, what is JEP? Thankyou ❤️

JEP is the Junior Engagement Programme, it was run for the first time this year for those on the Short Wait List. It was really good, I’ll be happy if my daughter was to get it again this year tbh (obviously prefer JA lol!) x

That's interesting. How did your daughter find doing JEP and what was the frequency of classes?

She loved them, the JEP classes were fortnightly from January and lasted 1hr 10. We found out a few weeks after her getting SWL
