It just means that if they offer you a place it’s conditional upon passing a physio assessment at a later date.
    hope that helps.

Just received an email regarding the finals at Elmhurst. Not exactly sure what this means...

"Due to the fact that health professionals are being held in hospitals, we are also unable to hold the physio assessments, due to be held on the day. We will be in a position this year where we have to make offers of a place at the school subject to satisfactory physio screening at a later date."

From experience RBS, Tring & Central have their own on-site physio teams - Elmhurst don’t - they have to call physios in which can also cause delay treatment should an injury occur.

I know of 2 non vocational offered 6.1 and both took up offers elsewhere

I’m aware of 5 (2 DS & 3 DD’s) who’ve turned down 6.1 and chosen the Degree route instead - some due to being able to access Degree funding. 2 others are going Overseas. I believe they offered 10-15 placed for 6.1.

Vocational school are very expensive for most people & DaDA’s don’t cover boarding.

Not that this is a subject I know a huge amount about, but I was struck by the comment about "joining an established year group" at Elmhurst. Is this really an issue? I've got the impression from reading other threads on this forum that there is so much movement between ballet schools at the post-GCSE stage - as well as students going full-time vocational who weren't before - that most people are in the same boat.

Totally agree - don’t  fret regarding joining “established year groups at Elmhurst” - the year groups change year on year. Y10 & Y11 for GCSES are the most stable but otherwise DC come and go for various reasons. The friendship groups change as the DC mature - just as they do non-Vocational schools.
